Life Insurance Corporation of India presents scholarships for the students, with LIC officials and school staff on Friday 20th September 2019.
The LIC city branch manager D Sehagiri Rao said that “as part of social responsibility activity, the LIC – Life Insurance Corporation of India handed over scholarships to students who excelled in studies”.
Scholarships were given to the Best Students of the Year of DSR Municipal Corporation High School on Friday 20th September 2019.
Seshagiri Rao speaking on the occasion, said the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation is providing educational awards, scholarships, infrastructure to schools and insurance to schools to support the talented students.
Ten students of the school from each class were given the Best Student of the Year scholarship.
Seshagiri Rao also said the others students should take the awarded students as an ideal and excel in studies. Headmaster Ch VSV Prasad, development officer KKS Srinivas, LIC agent P Kanakadurga, M Kishore, teachers and others were present there on the occassion.
